Tamara de Lempicka was born Tamara Gorska in  in 189
Tamara's first husband was a handsome lawyer named Taduesz Lempicki.

Tamara de Lempicka fled the Bolshevik revolution and arrived in Paris in 1919.


Tamara de Lempicka's  father was an attorney and her mother an intellectual aristocrat.

In 1925 she exhibited her hauntingly beautiful paintings at the first Art Deco show in Paris
