 and had three nervous breakdowns in childhood.


Warhol studied art at the Carnegie Institute of Technology

Warhol worked as a draughtsman and illustrator in New York.
, Valerie Solanos, a member of SCUM, (the Society For Cutting Up Men) shot Warhol three times in the chest on June 3, 1968.


 Warhol produced more than 80 films.


Warhol founded 'Interview' magazine.
